Sheila Starks Phillips
Sheila Starks Phillips has worn many hats, including musician, teacher and zookeeper, but these days she shares the power of words as an author and storyteller. A celebrated Texas treasure, she is a Texas Commission on the Arts Touring Artist and a past recipient of the John Henry Faulk Award from the Tejas Storytelling Association. Her performances often incorporate music, morals and a masterful dose of surprise and delight. Sheila lives in Sugarland, Texas and travels the state sharing her stories.
